I haven’t been on a walk for a little while. I’ve been so busy going on different adventures instead and not having the time. I did however, meet up with my friend Hayley yesterday and go for a stroll. We met up at the half way mark between our houses, and that just happened to land in Cheshire.

I’ve not explored this area of the country, and I’m placing it in my mental map as the very western edge of the peak district. It is very pretty and has lots of hills. Teggs Nose Country Park is where we explored. Teggs Nose is the hill and it stands at 380m, so it is smaller than the peak district hills I’m used to over my side of the peaks.

We had lovely weather, a decent car park, toilets and a cafe. I felt very spoilt on this walk. We did the circular walk, starting at the carpark and heading up a slight incline to get to the summit. It had great views.

We then headed down the hill. This is where I made a navigation error and blindly walked down a path, which ended up being on the very steep side.

Once down we walked alongside a reservoir before heading back up the hill. Once again leaving Hayley questioning her life choices and how she ended up being my friend.

I had a great time. Thank you Hayley for putting up with me and my strange need to run all over a hill to view things from all angles.
