There was ‘snow’ stopping us!

There was ‘snow’ stopping us!

The heavy snowfall meant that we couldn’t walk as a group, but Zalks, H and I didn’t let that stop us getting out.

Zalks all suited and booted for the weather!

Wellies, walking boots and layers applied we set off on foot to Golden Acre Park where we walked through Cookridge golf course and round Paul’s Pond!

The woodland was so pretty and made for some gorgeous photos.

We walked all around the park having snow ball fights and fighting through the snow. Despite being pretty the snow was very deep and quite hard to walk in. It was certainly a work out that was made harder by Hagrid’s love of biting my feet when I kick anything!

Hagrid’s love of feet biting!
Almost up to her knees!

Overall a good walk was had by us, but Hagrid was the one who enjoyed the walk the most as his favourite weather is snow.

If you are in North Leeds, no matter the weather Golden Acre certainly is a good place to walk. Accessible for all, free parking a cafe and ice cream van too in Summer!
