Hi. Welcome to the Breathless Hikers. We are Kirsty and Rachel.

We recently discovered the ‘great out doors’ after Kirsty adopted a dog from another part of the country and drove through the Yorkshire Dales. Kirsty was amazed by the beauty and wanted to find out more, this started a mad idea to complete the Yorkshire Dales 30. Rachel thought, hey this sounds like a good idea and came along for the adventure.

We’ve learnt a lot since that first walk about ourselves such as Rachel having a fear of heights and Kirsty really disliking climbing over walls and fences. There has been lots of laughter and tears along the way and we would like to share our routes, memories and kit reviews as we have become more seasoned hikers.
